*Clean wound thoroughly, release liner and apply dressing to wound.
*Dressing swells up and turns white as it absorbs the exudate from the wound.
*Remove and replace with a new hydrocolloid dressing when exudate starts to leak.
*Remove dressing when surface becomes flat and wound has healed.
