Hansaplast Scar Reducer is a transparent, self‑adhesive polyurethane patch widely used in professional wound care. Free from active pharmaceutical ingredients, it offers a safe and effective way to reduce raised, coloured hypertrophic and keloid scars. The semi‑occlusive patch helps improve scar tissue hydration and temperature, supporting the skin’s natural regeneration and remodelling process so scars appear flatter, lighter and softer. Clinical studies show visible results after 3–4 weeks, with improved outcomes after 8 weeks of daily use for at least 12 hours.

Product Usage
Step 1: Remove the protective paper from the adhesive side of the patch. Apply the patch on clean and dry skin, making sure that the scar is completely covered.
Step 2: If the scar cannot be completely covered, several patches can be applied next to each other. For smaller scars, patches can be cut to the desired size.
Step 3: Wear for a minimum of 12h a day and change the patch daily.
Warnings
The polyurethane material of the SCAR REDUCER is known to be very skin friendly and is suitable for sensitive skin.
Products made of this material are very common in professional wound care.
The SCAR REDUCER patches are breathable and hydro-active and will not cause maceration beneath the patch.
